SUSTAINABILITY AND INNOVATION

2022 was the first year in which the Company was entirely focused on agriculture and construction, and it completed many projects and initiatives driven by sustainability. In this issue, we present examples of how we have put into practice our sustainability strategy, which focuses on four key areas: inclusion, equity and engagement; carbon footprint; circularity and eco-efficiency; and governance and commitment.

In the following pages, you will read about our employee resource groups, dedicated to fostering equality and engagement. You will also see how we have shown our commitment to supporting local communities around the world by educating and training young people from Brazil to Somalia to Thailand.

You will learn about our latest technologies and products that are fostering innovation, including New Holland’s T7 LNG Methane Power tractor, the first dynamic simulator in Italy designed for farmers and the electrification of machines in both the agricultural and construction sectors.

Over the past year, we have continued to steward our soil and crops through agronomics and the latest automation technologies, enabling farmers to enhance their productivity and protect the land. And our remanufacturing department is giving our product parts a second life, saving our customers money and reducing delivery time.

We have also made our plants more sustainable by revitalizing green areas around them and installing photovoltaic systems on the roofs of our biggest facilities to generate clean energy.

In this year’s edition, we have started to collaborate with industry experts to add an external perspective to these topics. Thanks to their valuable contribution, we hope to provide even more insights for our readers, raising awareness about the importance of our sustainability initiatives and the value they bring to the communities that we serve.
