In this issue, we present examples of how we have put our sustainability strategy into practice. This strategy focuses on four key areas: circularity and eco-efficiency; carbon footprint; inclusion, equity and engagement; and governance and commitment.
In the following pages, you will read about our commitment to providing value for our farmers through sustainable innovations that empower them. For example, by acquiring machine vision company Augmenta, we have unlocked a groundbreaking solution for farmers. With its sense and act technology, Augmenta enables them to manage their crops more effectively and make application decisions without needing to sort through complex data.
You will discover how we have sponsored environmental awareness campaigns at schools in cities and remote areas in Latin America and collaborated with universities in Thailand. The Company has also implemented a number of diversity and inclusion (D&I) projects over the past year, including the ICOM platform in Brazil, which allows direct communication with deaf employees, and initiatives that led to CNH being recognized as an Inclusive Employer by Diversity Council Australia. At our plants in India, we introduced the first all-female production line, a significant step forward for the inclusion of women in our industries.
For this edition, we have continued to collaborate with industry experts to add an external perspective to the topics we touch on, and last but not least we have gone one step further by giving a voice to our customers.
